Purpose – A reason or reasons why someone writes or speaks about a topic.

Since I would always put purpose and exigence together I didn’t really understand either of them if I constantly compared the to together. This is where Professor Carr steps in and helps us better understand. in my literacy narrative I stated nothing in my draft. I honestly think I didn’t know what to write so I left that part blank.

throughout my time here I think towards the end I messed it up. But I felt like now as im writing this I have a better understanding of what purpose is. In my last assignment before this one I stated

“He didn’t care much about his citizens and some of them were hurting”

This is such a perfect example of how I show purpose. I personally believe that this is a really good way I showed my purpose in writing my argumentative essay.
