*NEW CLO – Students will examine how attitudes towards linguistic standards and differences empower and press language users*

I honestly was very confused about this new one. We are the first ones to find this CLO. If I’m being honest I don’t remember what she said this CLO is about. She’s on board with us knowing that this CLO is new to her as well. I want to try my best to explain it how I believe it is.

In this class we were given a lot of essays to do. Most of them we wrote about topics that were important to us. For example the literacy essay, we had to write about how we’ve gained literacy but with our own personal stories. The blended assignment was very new and hard but I managed to do it good. It was a mix of narrative and expository. We had to write about a topic that has meaning to us based on personal experience. it was fun and she gave us that power to choose one instead of her choosing one. It’s the same thing with the argumentative essay.
