*Practice systematic application of citation conventions*

I actually did this when writing my draft and final essays. My professor would tell us about a format called MLA citation styles. using this format she would tell us how to cite sources properly. She had us practice with poems and with our essays draft that would use outside sources.

What we also did was had a Work Cited page that shows the sources he used and we had to write them properly.
