Audience – a group of people listening or reading something made public.

Audience was throughout my days taking this class in every assignment given. My first ever assignment that was a diagnostic essay involved having an audience was my ever own professor. I stated

“I want you to see me not just as a student, but as a person”

This wasn’t the only time where I had to show my audience. It would be in class where I would have to also brainstorm who else could be other than my professor. This is where my blended assignment comes in. I stated

“My target audience for this essay is not only for my English course but also, it’s for these rapists and these abusers that have committed these crimes and for the people that went through something like my story”

I knew after writing this as my audience I had a clear understanding. It’s very hard to find someone else as a target audience other than yourself or your classmates and professor. But this assignment helped me to push myself into finding something else that can better improve my understanding and the way I choose my audience.
